Such a great asset to have locally. We’ve had TV’s, audio, washing machines and fridges from them; great service and advice each time. Price matched to large (and online) retailers without asking and delivered super fast. A proper Aladdin’s cave of everything you could ever need :)

Excellent service, at the beginning of lock down I purchased a washing machine. It was delivered to my back door within two hours, due to the pandemic restriction Wades were unable to enter the house therefore my husband fitted the machine. From purchase to completing first wash about three hours.

Wades has the most varied stock of any independent shop I know. If there is something they don’t have they will try their best to get it for you. When the Town was in lockdown they delivered free to your door even if you only wanted a bag of screws. Over the years I have made many purchases from Wades, including washing machine, TV, fridge, Dyson vacuum cleaner and various hardware items.
